John Sullivan will be leaving St. Helena on 4th April. 

At the beginning of this year he arrived as an adviser from the centre of International Development at the University of Wolverhampton. Mr Sullivan was head teacher of Prince Andrew School in early 2011. He then left the Island and returned in the later part of last year as temporary Director of Education and Employment until the post was permanently filled.

Colin Moore is now the Director of Education and Employment and arrived on the 19th of March. Colin Moore signed a three year contract with St. Helena Government and said "I am hugely honoured to have been appointed to the post of Director of Education and Employment at this exciting time in the development of the Island".

Colin qualified as a teacher in Nottinghamshire and has taught in schools in East London and the West Country.  His professional qualifications include a Master of education from Bristol University
